Noah is 7 months

I am a couple weeks late with this so lots to fill in on. Noah started moving and scooting around at just over 6 months and at 7 months was doing a weird inchworm/army crawl to get where he needed to be. He was really slow, but he was moving. Now he is crawling like crazy. He can get wherever he wants to be and fast! He will come see me in the kitchen while I am doing dishes and just start babbling and telling me stories. His crawl is pretty funny. He does his left leg and right arm and then partly his right leg then drops to his belly and pulls himself up and starts over. He wants to be so mobile! When we put him in his little car bouncer he walks all over the kitchen. If you are holding him he will crawl all over you to get something that he sees. I just can not believe how fast he is growing. It is so crazy how fast time goes, I know I say that all the time, but really my kids are growing up! I don't know where my babies are going?! On Mother's Day Noah had his first tooth pop through. Then a day later the other bottom tooth came right on up. I love his little baby teeth because those smiles are so cute, but his look totally changed. He is talking a lot more and will say dada and every once in awhile he will say mmmm mmmm. So I will get my mama soon! He is doing good on all of his foods. We still stay away from dairy, soy, nuts, corn, green beans, peas, and bananas. He loves his big brother and sister. They sure love him too, I didn't know if they would get tired of him by now, but they haven't they still love him as much as the day they met him and of course so do we.

Fun Outings

Fancy Fancy! We went to Texas De Brazil for mothers day dinner with Dee Dee and Fadi and all of Jake's siblings and their spouses. It is all you can eat meat that they bring around and around to you. So much meat!!! The boys all loved it! It is rare when everyone can be together so that was very nice.
For Jake's birthday Fadi and Dee Dee came with us to Geisha house and that is the best food! We love our Japanese dishes. Yummy and my little Japanese Emma was using her chopsticks and all. The kids love the chefs cooking with the fire and all the fun tricks they do. Noah was in awe with the loud noises and bright lights. We all went home full that night.
Jake put on a quarterly event with his work and we all went to the Las Vegas 51's Baseball game. It was windy so we only stayed for 3 innings, but that was perfect, the kids watched and loved it! We got free dinner through his work and we love our BBQ!  I love doing things as a family and making moments that we can look back on and making friendships. Being friends with family is so amazing and I am lucky to have a great family that we are all friends too!

Field Trips

We were so busy in May! Benjamin had 2 field trips and Emma had 1. First we had Benjamin's field trip to the fire house. This boy is obsessed with fire men. He has been saying all year that he wants to be a missionary and a fireman, so actually being there was amazing to him. He loved the trucks and sitting where they sit to watch tv and wait for the alarms. He watched one of the fireman get all dressed up and saw the trucks. It was probably one of the best places he has been. I am so glad I got to see that excitement with him!

Next off was the Springs Preserve. It is a desert landscape with museums and animals from the desert. They have lizards, spiders, rabbits, etc. The kids had fun walking around and looking at the different things. Grandma DeeDee met us there and the kids loved having her there and seeing the animals with her.

Last was Emma's trip with her Pre school. Miss Andrea had a private tour at the Shark reef. We went down to a class room where the kids were taught about different habitats and animals and played games and saw fish and snakes in the room. Then we went through and saw all the sharks, turtles, sea horses, alligator, dragon, jelly fish, etc. The kids wanted to pet the sting rays, but they both backed out last minute. Emma loved the jelly fish. Benjamin loved the sharks. It was such a great trip to have with her little class at the end of the year.

Spring time

We are loving being outside and enjoying sunny weather. We went to Jake's grandpa Bulloch's 80th birthday bash. A lot of the family was all there out of their 10 kids! So many people and so fun! There was lots of food, chats, cake, bouncy house and fun. There were baby chicks there that all the kids absolutely loved. Emma wanted to take one home so bad, but me not so much ;) We sure love spending time with Jake's family, there is always people to talk to and kids to play with.

My mom sent the kids all blankets that she made for an Easter/she loves them gift. The kids love her so much and were so excited to have new blankets! Their blankets were getting a little grungy. Benjamin and Emma are so attached now and love their super soft blankets. Noah is so cute every time he gets a blanket he just shoves it in his face, so his new one is great being so soft! Love it and we all love surprise mail!
