Us in May

Let's start with Mother's Day. I was spoiled with three rose bouquets, a sweet present from my Benjamin and some quiet time! Yay! I love being a mom more then anything. I love watching my kids grow and seeing their smiles and laughs everyday. That night we celebrated with Jake's family and all of us mommas at Jeff and Kaylas house with a bbq. The kids had fun swimming in the hot tub and playing, while we chatted and ate yummy food. We all just love all of our little miracles and seeing how much they grow. Time goes so fast it is so great when we can sit back and relax basking in our love and their health and happiness. Happy Mother's Day to all of the moms in my life, I hope you all enjoyed your day also.

Benjamin is about to graduate from kindergarten. He learned so much this year and I can't wait for his ceremony that is coming up. Little Noah is growing so much. He talks up a storm and it's just so much fun as he learns new words every day. He loves to color. He will color for a long time and loves markers. It's so funny when he wants to color he just randomly starts yelling marker marker until someone gets his coloring stuff. Of course he found a lone red marker and colored on his face so we got a great creepy photo moment. He got his summer hair cut and looks so much older. He does so good with hair cuts he just sits there and does anything I tell him too and is just so excited that he is getting a big boy hair cut. He totally has third child craziness of wanting to be just like his siblings and then tattling on them and wanting to be completely independent. It makes for crazy times at our home. Emma is getting so excited to go to Benjamin's school next year. She asks almost everyday when she gets to go to school to. She is so excited and I am in shock that they will both be in school soon and it will just be Noah and I. I'm excited for her and I love that they are so close and will have each other. We celebrated Jake's 27 birthday! I know I know I'm married to n old man! Haha just kidding, I love you Jake and hope you had a good weekend!
Kylee is tying the knot! Um what?! Yes she is on July 11, we are so excited for her and Taylor and can't wait for the big day. We are getting ready with lots of planning and excitement.

We have had a lot of illness in our home. :( It started with pink eye for some of us then our whole family had coughs, colds, fevers, headaches for a good week. The nasty cough is still lingering and we have not been getting much sleep. We are pretty much better just trying to catch up on sleep. This month Noah got a black, scratched eye and is getting teeth that are miserable for him and with his stomach problems they have caused nasty diapers which caused a bad rah for weeks. Poor baby couldn't walk or sit. Emma was trying to open a package usin a knife and it slipped and the knife hit her in the eye. I am so grateful it was a butter knife. Images of if it has been a fork or a sharp knife or a pencil were terrifying and we are just so glad it wasn't. We took her to the dr for some pain and blurring and luckily everything is ok and we are just making sure it stays that way! Also grandpa's knee has been giving him a hard time so he had knee surgery. That went really well and so far his recovery has gone well and we are hoping it stays that way so he can have some relief.

Memorial Day we had our annual swim and bbq at Art and Joyce's pool. It was so fun and peaceful with our family from St. George coming into town. The kids all had a blast swimming and playing. Dad couldn't swim yet so he played croquet with Benjamin. All the kids just adore him!  Noah screams papa anytime he sees him and is so good with his hugs and kisses. We just love those cuddles. Benjamin's bond with grandpa is the best. I just love watching them! We are so grateful for the men and women who fight for our country and for our freedom so we can enjoy each other and all the things we are so blessed with!

Disneyland

Yay! This was out third year in a row that we got to go. Jake's dad Jeff and Vicki took us and planned the trip. We had the first day at Disneyland and the second at California adventures. Jeff had 4 of 5 of his kids there, and Vicki had 3 of 4 of her kids and we all had our kids with or little families. We had a total of 28 people! It was so fun spending time together and laughing and making memories with family we don't see very often! We all had so much fun joking around, laughing, talking, and getting to know each other better. The kids all got along pretty well for having so many of them!
Chad and Emylee made us all shirts turquoise and neon yellow! We were not an easy group to miss and it was amazing! Auntie Kay made the kids matching temporary tattoos that said if lost who to call. Such a great idea! Taryn even made all the little girls hair bows to match our shirts! Thanks everyone for your work to make this trip amazing!
When we got to CA we all swam and talked, just relaxing and enjoying the time before we started the marathon! The kids loved swimming and playing with cousins. Emylee, Kayla and I all stayed up and had girl talk till 3 in the am! Um what!? I don't remember the last time I voluntarily stayed up that late. We had such a good talk though! Love you girls!
We started off at Disneyland. First thing we see is Mickey! Noah had been so excited to see him and says, "yes! Mickey!" Well when it was his turn he cautiously walked up to him while Mickey held out his hand. Once Noah grabbed his hand there was no stopping him. He could not stop loving on Mickey! He kept grabbing his face and laying on it or giving him kisses. Mickey was amazing too, Noah hugged him and Mickey hugged him right back for minutes! The line was getting long so I grabbed Noah and Mickey waved me off and Noah just loved it! He just screamed Mickey and reached for him when I finally got him. Our next group went up to see Mickey and Noah snuck right back up to him and went in for that adorable hug! Mickey just kept him as we all loved it. Sorry for Noah photo bombing your pics! It was definitely my favorite part of the trip. :)
The kids loved splash mountain again, but Benjamin's favorite ride was Indiana jones! Us girls went on it together and loved it we had such a blast! It was my fav too! The kids loved seeing all the characters in the parade and waving and dancing. It was such a blast!
The next day we started off our day meeting Elsa, Anna, and Olaf! Yes the kids loved them. Of course, we all did! Little tavyn was so dang cute. She loves princesses now and was in awe of Elsa and Anna! Later some of us went to the sing a long. Kayla, Emylee and I all sat in the front with our girls. Penny and Umi were so into the singing and even got up to dance, just cute as can be. Even Noah was singing "let it go, let it gooo" and saying "essa, Anna, ola"  so adorable! Emma sang a little bit but was awestruck that Elsa, Anna, christoff and more were right in front of us!
Benjamin was tall enough for California screamin this year and though it rocked! He had such a good Time going on it with his cousins over and over and over and over again! I went on it this year and forgot how much I love roller coasters. Noah's favorite was the finding nemo ride. We went on a submarine under water and watched through the windows digital parts of the movie. He was just chatting away, "bubbles, wa wa (water) fishy, nemo, and cash" He just loves his little bestie cash! Jake and I still love tower of terror! That drop is just so fun! Each night Emma got done pretty early and wAs so excited for her toy. Benjamin could have gone all night riding those big rides. When he stopped though he crashed right along with the other two! All he kids did so good for such long days. Noah did not like standing in lines though. He just didn't understand why he had to wait his turn for the fun that was right there! Well we looked at our phones and each walked around 25 miles! So yes at the end of our marathon we were all so exhausted but had such a good time.
Gramps and Grammy were so awesome sitting with the kids while we went on rides. We had a marvelous time and thank you again to everyone that made the trip happen! Love you all! Jeff, Vicki, Jeffrey, Kayla, Kylee, Umi, Chad, Emylee, Penny, Cash, joel, joey, olivia, Shaun, Jolee, Jordan, kayson, Taryn, Jestin, Blayke, Tavyn, Done'e, and Ron.

Busy busy weekend

We all went to Utah this weekend for Madison's graduation. We sure missed you Jake! Thanks for working hard so we could celebrate. Love you!
Yay! Go Madi! She graduated from BYU with her bachelors in science for special education. We are so proud of her! Go Cougars! The kids all wore there BYU shirts to support their blue! What an accomplishment!
Also my grandpa Jack got awarded the lifetime achievement award from the city of twin falls Idaho. Umm.... Wow! We sure love him and are so glad he was recognized and loved by so many!
We sure have so many amazing people in our family!
Since we were in Provo Kylee took us up to the ranch and we went zip lining. This time it was in the dark! It was so fun and so crazy not being able to tell where to break on some and flying through the night sky. That gorgeous mountain sky with so many stars. I just love all that fresh air. Of course we roasted marshmallows and ate s'mores and all got sticky with yummy goodness!
After all the graduation celebrations we came up to Ogden area to see great grandma k. That would be my great grandma so she is my kids  great great grandma! And she sure is great, we love her. She is a card shark and so much fun. Her and my dad are so funny together they just get after one another and we love chatting with her. I looked through some old photos of my dads dad (who died in Vietnam) and found one when he was 6 and Benjamin looks just like him! So fun to see pictures like that. We had such a good weekend and love the time we have with one another. Gma k said," I wonder what we would do different if we knew how much time we were given" we all said that we love the time we have with family and just appreciating each other. We are so lucky to all be friends with each other. I love you all family!
