Benjamin's first broken bones are in his face :(
Benjamin had an accident in the bounce house slide with a teenager. Their faces collided when was going up and one was going down. Benjamin started crying and got a bruise and a golf ball sized hard pocket in his cheek, below his eye. After talking with a few Drs and with some of the symptoms he was having this morning I felt much better taking him in to be seen to make sure everything was ok. He had a few cts to verify different things and has a fracture in the rim of his eye and it is cracked going down into his cheek. It's on his right side close to his nose. As of right now he doesn't need surgery. We need to make sure he doesn't throw up because if he does then that means muscle will be stuck in part of the fracture and he will need surgery. We have to be extremely careful and his activities are very limited because any force to his face will cause something to move just a hair and he will then need surgery. So he will be sitting with grandma in the front office for the next few weeks during his recesses and p.e. They are watching the volume in his eye to make sure it doesn't change to keep his vision ok. We will be rechecked in a couple weeks to make sure it is healing and hasn't moved. If it isn't doing exactly what it needs to he will need surgery of a plate put under his eye. Benjamin has been so strong and I am so proud of him dealing with all this pain. I am a wreck and am stressing that nothing goes near his face. He is just the sweetest boy and and his smile and eyes just melt my heart. It is so hard to see how swollen he is and his smile being affected by this. Right now he has a black eye and his entire cheek is bruised, that side of his face is completely swollen from jaw to eye. We are hoping for everything to go just right and for him to be healthy and strong. We just love him so much and so many others do too!!!

Well we have some news :)
We are expecting and due August 19. We thought our family was complete, but with some help and inspiration decided we were missing one more and this little one got sent down fast enough (before we could change our minds) ;). We are excited to add another beautiful spirit to our home.
First trimester is officially done and out of the way!!! Thank you! This has been a tough one. I have never been so sick, non stop, 24 hours a day. I tried multiple medicines none worked for a long time. Finally the last couple weeks I've had a little bit of relief as long as I keep up on the meds. Hopefully in the next few weeks I'll be completely off of it. These last months have been incredibly hard and I would like to thank Jake for picking up my slack and for the support and help I received from my family and all of the love we were sent. Thank you to all of the ward members and clients that brought meals. I am so incredibly grateful for all of the help and the people that checked in on me. Our family really has appreciated it.
Yesterday I was 14 weeks and we headed right over to the 3D/HD ultrasound place to find out what this little gem was! Noah has been saying it is a girl or sister the entire time and on the way the the kids all guessed girl. We had a few boy guesses, but our girl votes were the majority. Some of our families were able to join us and we were so excited to find out that Noah has been right! She was very shy with her little legs tightly crossed before we got a peek. Emma can't wait to have a sister and we are all excited. Benjamin and Emma keep saying it will be fair now with boys vs girls.... Hahaha. We already love this baby girl so much and our happy she is with us and growing bigger and stronger every day.

Daddy daughter dance
Emma and Jake went to their first dance together and had a blast! Jake even got her her own flowers. It was so fun seeing them together and getting pictures through out the night. They ran into my Dad and Charlotte at the dance and we love that. There was a fun photo booth with little props and of course lots of dancing. As they left they got a surprise present of a cute little panda. They ended the night with a late snack with Chad and penny. The girls thought it was the best that there was no brothers there. Just their daddies. I love they got this night together.
