Daddy Daughter Dance

Its that time again. Jake and Emma headed off to the annual Daddy Daughter Dance. They were both so excited. Emma picked out her dress and wanted to help dad pick out his outfit. His first three choices she kept saying no too. She finally said, "ugh dad let me see all of your ties and clothes. I will pick it out for you." This girl sometimes. She is so fun though. They went to the dance and met Chad and Penny there. The girls just got right on the dance floor and were ready to get down. They jumped and twirled all over that dance floor. Grandpa and Charlotte were there also, but there was so many people there they missed each other! Everyone had so much fun. After the dance the dads took these cute two to Geisha house. I am so glad they all got to go out and have fun. We sure love this tradition for our great dads and beautiful daughters!

Happy Half Birthday Miss Navy Ann

Six months old for our baby girl!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have had this angel in our lives for half a year and it is crazy that in this time again she will be one. We sure are trying to take in all the little moments and enjoy all the little things since she is our last baby. She is rolling like a pro, every way possible and all over the place. Navy knows how to turn in circles and get to ANYTHING she wants too. She is getting up on her hands and knees and rocks back and forth. She will go about one move in crawling then scoots with that cute little bum in the air. Navy's amazing little smile is already showing us her two tiny teeth! We just started her on baby food, she is on a special rice cereal that hopefully work better then the other kinds. I just feel so bad for her poor little tummy. Her Dr. gave us the go to start veggies and hopefully feel her up a little more. Carrots are first on the list so hopefully we will be good to go. This little porcelain doll is seriously just that. She loves attention and will smile at anyone and everyone, in any attitude. Even if she is crying if someone will look at her and smile they will get one back. We love her so much! She is 16 lbs and in the 50% for weight and in the 75% for height. Thanks Navy for blessing us with your love and happiness! We love you. Happy half birthday!

Emma Recieved Student of the Quarter!

We have another Soaring Eagle in our home!!! YIPEEE!! Emma has worked very had in class. She has advanced so much in her school work. I am so impressed at what she has accomplished in just one semester! She started the year really struggling with reading sight words and wanting to do her work. Now she is reading like a champ! She has more then tripled her reading level in one semester! What?! I sure love her. She was so excited to receive this award. The teachers surprise the students and I loved seeing her joy. I am so glad she is loving school now. Her teacher is amazing and I am very grateful for her. I love you Emma, we are so proud of you!
