Labor Day

We spent the long weekend in the mountains and Jake's family cabin. We had a great time. The kids played on stop from sun up to sun down and beyond. They enjoyed glow stick nights, branding in the wood benches, four wheelers, shooting, hornet toads, snacks, walks, river swims and so much more. I love seeing the happy faces of my kids as hey created these memories with their cousins and family. Jake and Jeff worked like crazy and did some projects that made it so we could create even more memories. The guys got a tree and cut it all up and then we branded our initials on it around the fire pit. They fixed and cleared up a road so we could make it down to the creek and swim and play. They worked so hard and helped so much this weekend! We sat around and chatted and played games where we cried laughing so hard. We went off roading during the days and sat up by the fire with the stars. The land up there  is beautiful and I am grateful we had this weekend together!

Navy turned 1

Our little doll is one! We had so much fun celebrating her. She was the best model in our photo shoots. She was so cute with her cake just for her. I just love her smile and she has started with some cheesy smiles too. For her birthday we had dinner at cafe rio and then came and opened presents. She sat the whole time through presents. She loves the electronic ones until she got a baby doll! She was screeching in excitement and tried to get the baby out of the box while squeezing and kissing he box. She loves her babies so much. It is the sweetest thing how she loves on them and carries them around.  Thank you to all who celebrated and spoiled her! She is the best and the perfect little one for our family.

Navy is such a good baby. She loves to eat and eat and eat. They call her our garbage disposal because if anyone in the room has food she wants some. As soon as the food is gone then she is perfectly content to play and roam around. At her Dr.s she weighed 19 lbs. and I was told she needed to eat more. Well I don't see how that is possible! Haha it is still crazy that she isn't even twice her birthweight! She has been crawling since 5 months and hasn't stopped since! Her stink bug crawl is so fast. She has taken some steps and stands but isn't walking quite yet. Navy says about 5-10 words and signs about 10 signs consistently. It is so amazing to watch how smart she is and communicating with us. I love watching her learn and grow. She loves her siblings and they love her. Each of the older three are so great with her. She will be the spoiled baby sister for sure! We love you and thank you for a year of smiles and memories my little doll!
