9 years ago Deedee and Fadi took us to a beach house and at the beginning of January we went back again! We went to Oceanside,Ca. The house was so pretty everyone had their own rooms and there was balconies that looked right to the ocean. We saw whales, dolphins and seals all just from the house!! Everyday we spotted them and watched them, which made for my favorite experience there! The last night a group walked down to the pier and the kids were all screaming they saw a shark and adults didn't believe them. They got to the end of the pier and sure enough someone caught a shark and they watched them bring it up and saw another shark still swimming in the water!
We rented a duffy boat for a few hours one day and the kids all had so much fun taking turns driving it. We went in and around the different coves and saw seals laying out in the sun. We danced and sang which gave us lots of laughs.
The kids loved playing in the ocean, it was actually great weather and we had so much fun watching them. Navy did not like the waves! They played in the sand, Emma did cartwheels up and down the beach and the older three just got in and out of the water swimming and loving life!
We had a real long kitchen table that we sat at everyday. We played cards and games and colored away. I love just hanging out and had a great time making all new memories. We took family pictures and I can not wait to see them! I added some pictures that I just took on my phone and will do a post with all the professional ones when we get them.
