Bulloch Reunion

It was that time of year again, for Jake's family reunion. We headed up to Cedar to Jake's Uncle Bruce's cabin and got there really late friday night. The kids were so excited to see everyone. On Saturday we headed to Jake's Grandpas cabin to meet up with everyone else. The kids had so much fun playing with their cousins non stop. They went on so many razor rides and four wheeler rides. Navy kept saying just one more ride to anyone that would take her. I got to do a little bit of offroading with Fadi and Melissa in Fadi's jeep. Jake loved being able to drive the razor. We got to sit and chat with everyone and eat great food. A few of the uncles helped all of the kids with a big water balloon fight with launchers and everything. It was so fun to see all of the smiles from everyone. After dinner all the Bierstedts and a few other families headed up to the meadows. Jake, Jeff, and Drew had worked hard that day to clear out the road. It is such a stunning view up there all around you. We were up there taking pictures when Jeff proposed to Melissa. It was such a special moment to see the joy of them together.
We headed back to the other cabin to stay the night and we got soooo dusted. Everyone was just completley covered from head to toe. On sunday we woke up and hiked around before heading home. Thanks for a great weekend from everyone!

Fourth of July

We had a great fourth of July. We celebrated at my aunt Joyce and uncle Art's house. We all swam all day. Navy got so brave and did awesome swimming. We had lots of great food for our bbq dinner. My dad worked so after we ate we took him a plate for dinner. I brought over what I thought was some small fireworks, but it was just over 100 confetti poppers and snappers. Luckily I bought some sparklers too. We had fun and dad and the boys got into a war with them. After we headed home and stopped off the road by our house. We could see the whole city of Las vegas and there were fireworks everywhere. Deedee and Fadi came and joined us while we sat for an hour and enjoyed the fireworks. It was a great day and we sure are thankful we live in a country where we can celebrate.

Duck Creek Camp

We decided to go camping for the weekend with my family. Our family, my sisters, mom and the kids all headed up thursday and my dad and vernon met us on friday night. My parents had ther camper and the rest of us were in tents. It rained a little when we set up camp and one of the nights it rained all night. The weather really was perfect. It was so fun being around the fire and laughing. We played games and the kids ran around the camp site. We brought up their bikes and they rode those so much. They even built a little jump in our site to go off of. We went on some four wheeler rides in Madi and Vernon's four wheeler and a friends razor. It was so fun seeing the mountains. The kids loved the rides. Emma had a bad allergy/cold episode the whole time so she was a little more quiet, but still had fun with her aunties. We went to mammoth caves for a day and Jordan and Noah were off without our adults and it caused some mama's some freak outs.... all ended up ok and the big kids had a blast exploring the caves. We had yummy meals and a lot of s'mores. It was so fun being in the mountains. We sure loved it even with the bumps in the trip.

Build a Bear date

I got tickets for the kids to get Build a bear this year for their celebration. It was pay your age day so a steal of a deal. We got in the car and I surprised them when we showed up. They were so so excited. Emma picked a cotton candy colored kitten. Noah picked a Toy story 4 bear and Navy picked a blue, purple and pink bear mermaid. The kids are so obsessed with them and had such a fun building them. It was Navy's first time and she loved every moment. Benjamin was a great big brother and even though he didnt want a bear he went and helped Navy the whole time.
After we went and met dad for lunch at cafe rio. The kids loving seeing Jake when he is at work and Jake loves seeing all of us, so we had a great lunch. On our way home we stopped at dutch bros and the kids all got cotton candy frosts. We had a great date day. I love these kids and am so proud of how they were all day.

Emma is 9!

We had such a fun birthday week celebrating Emma. She asked to have her nails done so I of course had to use our pink and blue and they looked so cute. We woke up and she had asked to go swimming on her actual birthday since her party wasn't for a couple days. We headed over to my mom and dad's and Kylee cooked her a special birthday breakfast, totally spoiling her. We swam all day and the kids had a blast. Charlotte got Emma ready for her birthday dinner and we headed over to Olive Garden. Emma said she just wanted breadsticks, she is a smart girl! After dinner we went back to my parents for more swimming. Kylee took Emma to the store where she picked out a present and some treats. Then she got to have a sleepover with her aunts, grandma and grandpa just by herself.

Friday came and all my sisters came over and we made sugar cookies for Emma's party. That night we headed to the drive in to see the new Toy Story 4. We had quite the set up. Everyone had their comfy chairs, Madi and Vernon brought their couch and we bought a big outdoor speaker. We had a table set up with dinner and then we sang and brought out the cookies. Emma opened her presents and was so. She got so many fun crafts and gifts that will keep her entertained all summer. Next we headed to the playground to let the kids play before the movie. When we came back we had all the movie treats and snacks brought out. Everyone had such a great time and we all loved celebrating Emma. The drive in even wished Emma a Happy Birthday on the radio before the movie started.

Emma is a beautiful girl who has so  many outstanding qualities. She is smart, loves loves math, she is kind and works so well with her peers and friends. She is a great helper around the house with her siblings and me. She cares so much for people. Her favorite colors have been blue and pink for the last three years and those are still the best. She loves cotton candy and leggings. We have so much fun and she is the perfect piece in our family. I am so proud of her and we love you so much Emma.
