Hayride

We found the cutest guy who takes people on hayrides back by the farms in Vegas. We all crammed on the hay and in the carriage. The kids loved playing in the hay and the weather was perfect. We saw, donkeys, horses and buffalo! What?! We had no idea and it was so cool. We also passed two rainbow owl sanctuaries. The cutest tiny owls. The whole ride was fun as everyone chatted and cousins pointed out fun decorations and animals. The guy was the sweetest. He let Benjamin drive the tractor the last part of the way. Benjamins smile was so big.

We ended the night at Blaze pizza. We all were ready to party all night! So dang fun and different.

Pumpkin carving and bubble swims

We had so much fun at Jeff and Melissa’s house. We carved pumpkins. The kids had a love/hate relationship with scooping out the insides. Navy kept yelling that she wanted to do it herself. Of course Benjamin did a throwing up pumpkin. The kids all did great and took turns after judging each other’s and playing. It was so cute.

They set up an awesome projector for a movie that is parents say and watched. The kids got in the hot tub and then somehow ended up dumping soap in and making a giant bubble hot tub and pool. They swam the entire movie then went and played on the tramp. They laughed and scared each other all night. The cousins had a fantastic night and us parents did too. Love those outside movies!

Pepsi and Bees

Friday night was a night!!!! Jake took a sip of Pepsi at the corn maze and a bee was in the can. It stung the inside of his lip and then crawled to the outside of his lip and stung him again. Emylee had to pull the stinger out. His lip got bigger all night long. We kept making sure he could breathe and he could. Definitely a bee allergy though. The next day his whole cheek was swollen. Poor guy! He also got teased relentlessly by everyone especially his own kids!

Cowboy up

After we went to the corn maze we headed over to the rodeo. The logandale roping team had an event. Before they started the dedicated the night to Sean and Jace Talbot. They are Jake’s brothers from Vicki. It was such a beautiful moment. Not  dry eye in the arena. They played a beautiful song that memorialized the whole night. Their dad Tyler rode next to Sean’s horse and both of Sean and Jace’s boots were on the saddle. So grateful for the memories we had with the boys. They are incredibly missed and we know they are watching over their loved ones.

Candy time

For our ward trunk or treat we had a tri ward activity. It was fun and the kids loved getting candy. We ran into cousins and came with cousins. Always love family time! Our family went as characters from Home Alone. Love love love it has to be my favorite so far!

For Halloween night we had Kylee and Jordan and Chad and em and the kids come over and even the girls friend from school with her family! Our neighbors came along and we tested out our neighborhood. The kids scored! So so so much candy. It was a huge hit and didn’t take all night long haha. The kids also went into their fifth or fifteenth costume change. A cheerleader, zombie skater, ice cream cone and Benjamin stuck with our home alone pizza guy 🥰Happy Halloween!

Fall Festival

This is our 8th year at our schools fall festival. They have got bigger every year and we always have so much fun! This was my first year not walking around with the kids. As part of the cheer team us coaches had a booth with the girls. We had a line all night long and the best prizes. All our moms and coaches donated fidgets which our always such a hit! Emma loved helping out and working. Benjamin was off with his friends the whole time. Jake and Chad took the Littles around and came back with candy and prizes. So much fun!

Corn Maze

We headed out to the Moapa valley corn maze. It was our first time there in years and everyone loved it. The kids ran and ran. We loved the giant swings. The kids faces are pure joy as they swing high in the air and it melts my heart. You can always get the best smiles.

The boys loved running around to all the games and the corn maze. I think the kids went through the corn maze three times before we did once. The kids got their faces painted. We usually don’t do it but it was so fun for Noahs birthday to do something special. We also ate super yummy apple fries. Love all our Halloween nights.

Noah’s birthday

8 is great! Happy birthday little man. Noah you are the sweetest and we love you so much. Noah is so smart and loves school. He loves his teacher and friends with his whole heart. Noah always surprises us and makes us laugh with his sarcasm.

For his birthday we went to the drive in to see the second Addams family movie. The drive in is always so fun and now it’s the best weather. Noah got spoiled and loved having his cousins and some friends from school with us.

My kids have the best family

We are so lucky to be able to make memories with family as friends. They always spoil the kids so much. This month they got to go to pink out volleyball games with grandma to support aunt Kylee’s team. They went all out and had a blast!

Emma also got to go with her Auntie Em to listen to Penny sing. It is beautiful watching them support one another.

Thank you everyone for always loving my kids and showing them love. These were just a few of the things they get to do.

Cash baptism day

Yay! My nephew Cash chose to be baptized. He is the sweetest kid and is always making me laugh. We loved being able to spend the day with family. The spirit was so strong with everyone that loves him. Cash I’m so proud of you and thank you for being such a great example to our Noah!

Birthday month

First we celebrate Navy and then it’s my turn. I turned 32 this year and got spoiled. I’m so grateful for everyone that got me treats and flowers. It truly made my day! I feel so blessed to have the people in my life that I do. We had a huge family dinner with everyone at Maggianos and it was soo yummy with so much food. Then we headed off to mini Grand Prix for racing and games!

I also got to go to Michael Bublé a month later as my present! Heck yes! My dad, Charlotte and I went together and had the best time. We sang our hearts out. We even got an extra long encore. Such a wonderful night.

Family nights

Jake and I took the kids and hit the town. We got stuck in quarantine so wanted to end the summer on a better note even if school already started haha. We went to Game works, bowling, jump places, cowabunga bay, laser tag and more! Seriously we made so many fun memories with our family. Navy and I loved the Jurassic park game while Jake and the other kids hit up all the games. The racing slides were our favorite at the water park too

Noah got to go shadow ridge football game and hang out with the players. We had a great end of summer, Lots of fun with yummy food, dog baths, cooking and more.

Taliah hugs and kisses

Taliah graduated in May and is off to bigger and better things. She moved to Idaho with our grandparents as she prepares to go on her mission. Noah and her have been bffs since he was born and we were all pretty dang sad. The kids and I stole Taliah for the day and went and played games, bowling and shopping. It was so great having her to ourselves before she left. Noah was pretty heartbroken so I pulled him from school before he left and we made her a photo collage and had lunch with her. She is the best and we are so proud of her.

We had a great last girls night with all my sisters and mom. We went shopping and had dinner. We laughed and cried and cried from laughing. I love my family so much!

We also said bye to Ben, Elder Scow. He got called to serve in Guatemala and we can’t wait to hear his stories of the great things he does!

Lake day

We got invited by Jeff and Melissa to go boating. We headed out early and had the best day! The guys took the kids on rides and tubing all morning. We even had these blow up rafts that the kids could run on and jump off of. The girls made sand castles why the boys explored the island. Melissa and I hung out on the beach in the sun. The wind came in and about knocked us all over while we headed out.

We ended the night at our favorite place, watching a movie at the drive in. We watched Disney’s Jungle Cruise and everyone laughed and loved it. Great day with cousins!

Happy 5th birthday!

Navy turned 5! I can’t believe our baby is this old. We are officially in the next big kid stage I feel like. Navy is still as spunky as ever. We love her sass and all the comments she adds to our daily lives. Almost everyday she asks which smile she should use that day. She then proceeds to make lots of faces and until she gets to the sweetest smile. She is always making us laugh.

For her birthday we got to head off to The Farm. She is obsessed with bunnies and we looked all over Vegas to find a place where she could hold one. We got there and it was too hot for the bunnies to be out. We had the sweetest lady help us and she went and snuck one for us. The kids loved seeing all of the animals. One of the horses would kick the fence if we weren’t feeding it. Later we ended the day swimming at grandma and grandpas. Such a great day.

On her birthday we headed over to sea quest and mini golf. Navy loved seeing the dinosaur statues more than mini golfing. The rest of us had fun golfing and hanging out in the black light. At sea quest they had an exhibit where we got to stick our hands in and these teeny tiny fish ate all the dead skin off. It was so weird, but totally worked!

Happy birthday Navy! We love you baby!
