Bulloch Christmas party

Every year the Bulloch's get together in December its hard with so many of us, but those that can make it always have a great time. We had yummy food and I can't wait to make some recipes. I already have the stuff in my grocery list. Aunt Christy brought everything for the kids to make their own funnel cakes and she was a hit! The kids ate so many and made them for anyone who would eat their creations. We had a great night together. We love being able to catch up with those we don't see a lot. Jakes grandpa lives for these moments and loves watching the chaos.

Merry Christmas

Us five girls got together with mom and dad for dinner and cinnamon rolls. Then we spent the night making chocolate covered cherries. Lots of work, but so good!

On Christmas eve we had breakfast for dinner at my parents. My mom had for ornaments for all the kids to make. They had so much fun crafting with grandma. We opened our Christmas Eve jammies, its my favorite to see the kids all matching with the tree and lights. We then went home and the kids made cookies before bed. Noah could not fall asleep so it was a late night.

Christmas morning the kids were up at 5:58 so we headed downstairs to see the gifts. I always love that moment. The kids did great as we watched and took turns. This year we made a lot of memories together at Disneyland and before Christmas. I think it made the season even better! I am so grateful for our Savior and the presence he has in our lives.

Our day was so good. The kids did crafts and played games. It was just what we love. That night we went to my parents for dinner. The kids got spoiled with more gifts. Taliah got them each a paint kit and sat and painted with them. Jordan and Charlotte both got an oculus. They were a hit. We got to go to Idaho and see grandparents houses. Taliah went to Boston and Guatemala. Jake even went to Rome and mt-everest. Then we all took turns dancing and boxing. A great Christmas Day together.,

Our first teen

Benjamin is 13!!!! He is growing up so fast. He is almost as tall as me, I think I still have half an inch on him still. Benjamin is really athletic and also smart. He is drawing and we love seeing his creations. He also loves Xbox and fortnight.

Benjamin got braces the day before his birthday so he asked for home made caramel before. The Friday before we went and saw the new spiderman which was so good! Benjamin brought a friend then they hung out the rest of the night. On his birthday we went to see sing 2. That was a kid movie I guess so we went while he went to his friends house. He got this squishy toy that sticks to walls and no one could get it down so we got to see everyone’s jumps. On his birthday he asked for biscuits and gravy then milkshakes for dessert. Happy birthday bud can't wait to watch you this next year.

Kids Christmas

The week before Christmas break is so fun. The kids all had parties. Noah had a concert and he practiced and was so excited to sing. He said l would for sure hear him. I loved their songs. l even grabbed navy from class so she could see too.

Emma and I had a cheer party. We had drinks, chips, tacos, burritos, and cupcakes. The girls all exchanged gifts and we loved watching them. Coach Melissa got everyone cheer necklaces and cookies. I am so grateful to coach with great women and that Emma can cheer with great girls.

Emma also planned a party with a few of her friends. They had everything planned out from food to cookies and a movie. I love her group of girls.

Kylee's dog Roxy had puppies so we have been getting lots of puppy kisses and loves and will miss them!

Sister Schraft

Taliah and my mom surprised us all and Taliah flew home for a few days! She came with her mission call for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We all had our guesses on a big map. No one got it right other then Grandma Jardine. Navy guessed Idaho or Disneyland haha.

Taliah is called to serve in the Boston Massachusetts mission. It also includes Connecticut and Rhode Island. We can't wait for her to go and see the history of our country and serve those wonderful people.

Brace face

Benjamin got braces! Of course we went to the best with Emylee's sister Dr. Ence. She did a great job and we can't wait to see his beautiful smile to come.

Emma broke some bones.

Emma crashed on her scooter and hurt her wrist.it was swollen and causing a lot of pain. A few days later we took her to urgent care where they missed everything on the X-rays. We didn't feel right so we went to our doctor and she sent us to an orthopedic. There was three breaks in her hand, thumb and wrist. She got a not pink cast. We stopped by Grandma's work to get a hug after. I took her back to school and she said she was saving half for her family. She came home with the entire cast full of signatures and left one spot for Taliah. Grandpa saw and just signed right over half of the names. We all were laughing. Luckily at her check everything looked good and the cast came off. She is still sore, but doing better.

Western elite polar express

This year we were so lucky and got to go to Alamo to their polar express. Emylee got the tickets for us and it was so dang fun! We went with chad and Emylee, her two sisters and Jimmy with all their families. The kids all have a blast together and so us adults get to have even more fun.

They had so many fun things. Wagon rides, horse drawn carriages, an outdoor mini train and a kid train. Navy went on the kid train over and over and over! The wagon ride went around so we could see all of the decorations and lights. The outdoor train showed us all the animals which included a zonkey. Looks like a donkey with zebra pattern on its legs. The ride ended in a fully decorated mini Christmas village tunnel.

They had a whole set up in line for the real train. A house with girls baking cookies. A real snow princess, big snowglobes, elves, and beautiful nativitys, some of which were handmade from other countries. A house made of lollipops, candy canes and plenty of cute picture opportunities. They had a grinch and cat in the hat too. Then you go through a house where each room is decked out. You get your golden ticket at the window then get to see the train cars. While you wait to load they have a big outdoor screen playing the movie Polar express.

Once on the train the conductor took tickets and he looked perfect! Out the window we saw different movie sets from Home alone and polar express. They had theland of misfit toys and the elf village. Then we got  to see Santa's home where even Buddy the elf was. Santa and Mrs. Clause got on the train and gave each kid a present. We got to take pictures and sing. The whole ride was a perfect experience. We sang really loud and had lots of fun. The end had a live donkey with Mary and ended at a scene with a beautiful live Nativity.

They also fed us dinner and had free not cocoa stands everywhere.it was freezing so we all drank up. What a wonderful night! Thank you Emylee!

Gingerbread houses

Emylee and I have a tradition of doing gingerbread wit the kids. Some years it is just us and this year we got both chad and Jake too! It is one of our favorite things that kids can't wait for. We get frosting and sprinkles everywhere with sticky fingers and smiles. This year I got a kit from Costco Thad had the house pre built so we just got to decorate without it crashing down. Love these Christmas nights.

Enchant Christmas

This was Las Vegas first year being able to host. We bought tickets early so we could make sure to get in. We went with Chad and Emylee and had a blast. They saw Santa and he was amazing! They even had Mrs. Clause read stories to the little kids. She was the sweetest and so for to talk too. Down on the field was a giant light maze. Everyone got a scratch off card to mark off as they found each reindeer in the maze. The kids loved going in all the sections and seeing all the lights. The reindeer were huge and completely lit up. Absolutely beautiful. We had such a great night and hope they come back.

Disneyland

This year we went to Disneyland for Thanksgiving and Christmas. We left Thanksgiving day and went on Friday and Saturday to the parks. Eryka is Emylee's sister, they were going for Christmas and birthdays. They invited Chad and Emylee and the kids and then we got invited. Jakes dad didn't have plans and chad got him to come with us too.

We have never been at Christmas Time and wow oh wow was it even more magical of. Everything is decorated and beautiful. Make it snow and it is pure wonder! My momma heart glowed seeing eyes just sparkle. They have special food they make just for the holiday season. Which meant even more churros, popcorn, beignets, and so much more. Everything was so yummy!
.

This was our first year without a stroller or a kid in diapers. It was life changing. Jake and I each carried a backpack and it worked out absolutely perfect! We were at rope drop both days and the first ones at California adventures. We walked on the new star wars ride which made us ahead of the crowd the of the Day. Jake took the older 3 on a ride while I took Navy Over to see Mickey and Minnie. We couldn't get close because Covid. She was still so excited and happy. We even saw Cinderella and she asked navy if little nice made her bow and navy thought that was the funniest thing.

At California adventures we were the very first ones on web slingers. Everyone loved it and because we were the first ones we got the high score for the day even though I am not sure how long that lasted. Jake got the kids going on single rider lines. Multiple times they went on the ride then would hop back in line with us. The roller coaster best. All three older kids loved it. That and Indiana Jones were the only ones that navy couldn't go on. We are so used to having to sit out or take turns and it really is so much fun being out of stage.

As soon as the kids are tall enough I can't wait to take them on my favorite
Ride which is guardians of the Galaxy. This year was Navy's turn. She was so excited. The ride started and she cried and screamed the entire time. She had my arm in a deathgrip. After we walked away she couldn't catch her breathe from crying so hard. Then she said she kind of liked it. About five minutes later she loved it and wanted to do it again.

She tells people It was her favorite ride. That girl makes us laugh!

The kids started collecting Disney pins which was for to see different ones. Navy had her heart set on a big sleeping Minnie that was wearing pajamas. Noah got a shoulder buddy of Woody from Toy Story. At the hotel we saw Jake and Chad's cousin Jimmy with his family. The Kids loved swimming with even more cousins. Enjoy the hundreds of pictures, we sure love making these memories. We can't wait to get back.

Turkey time!

Happy thanksgiving!! We had an amazing day! Taliah was home and grandma schraft and grandpa and grandma Jardine came from Idaho. This year we also had Jake’s brother Chad and his family came. We absolutely loved having them and we all had so much fun.

We ate lots of yummy food and had so many pies! We had so much fun playing games too. Laughing, screaming and smiling! One of the games had us up and all over, crying we were laughing so hard! We need to play more often because we had so much fun.

We ended the night each of us going around saying something we are thankful for. It was a beautiful moment where the spirit was so strong. I love all of you so much!

Noah’s Baptism

We are so proud, Noah chose to bed be baptized in the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was looking forward to this day for so long! He was convinced that when he was baptized his body would change and never make wrong decision again. He is the sweetest and we taught him how he gets to make all the choices and choose where and how he wants his life. He loves that he has the Holy Ghost to help him and is excited to continue towards a happy life with his family and our Saviour.

We had a beautiful night. Noah was surrounded by the people that love him. Benjamin played I am a child of God on the piano. Grandpa Richard gave a wonderful talk on all the doors in his life and that this one was the first door back to our Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ. Aunt Emylee gave the talk on the Holy Ghost and had guests on all the ways the spirit will help him. The kids always love getting the fun gifts. Grandma Schraft had a little big with more little reminders of how Noah now had the Holy Ghost to help guide him.

I am so grateful that my kids have so many family members that love them so incredibly much. My kids not only live their grandparents and have relationships with them, but they also know s as me love their great grandparents and each have their own special relationship with them too.

After we had some yummy sandwiches that were such a hit thanks to Jake’s aunt Diane. I made cookies and we had a giant Book of Mormon cake that as Madi said took feasting on the words of God to a whole new level.

Thanks to all who came or sent love. We are beyond grateful and blessed. Also if you notice in his pictures the Ray of sunshine, he was so excited loving the light of our Heavenly Father shining through!
