All the Taliah we can have

 Taliah is the best. She has tried so hard to spend time with all the kids before she leaves. She came over. The other night she came over and picked up all the kids and took them the to get ice cream. Then she took them to the dollar store to get a treat. After they came over and watched a movie with us.

Last night Charlotte, Madi, Taliah, Emma and I all went and watched a romcom. We laughed the whole movie and had a great night.

We had a swim day for taliah’s last day before she became a missionary. Everyone loved soaking up the pool and playing. 

When taliah was set apart as a missionary the spirit was so strong. It was a beautiful presence and a beautiful moment. She received so many blessings that will be such an incredible part of this next time of her life. We have had lots of tears but are so so so incredibly proud of you Taliah. You are a strong and beautiful person!

Navy’s field trip

 I got to go with nary and her class on their field trip. We went to the Lion Habitat and had so much fun. Navy's love JJ in our group. They crack me up. They each think the other one is so funny and so they are perfect for each other. The kids loved Ozzie the giraffe and watching the lions eat.  I love being able to go and do these like this with the kids.

Temple trips

 Jake, Taliah, mom, dad and I all went to the temple together. We tried all going together but only some of us made it. Hs a great place to be and always comes at the right time.

Benjamin and Emma were so grateful to get a night with just Taliah and Charlotte at the temple last week. Thy went early and took a lot of pictures. Jake met them there and got to go in with them. Its been great having my sisters and kids able to join us.

Cali with my girls

 All my sisters, my mom and I wanted to plan a trip before Taliah left. We ended up deciding on the beach. Grandma J was in town and got to come with us last minute too! 

We piled in the car and drove west! Haha, the first night we wet to Santa Monica pier. It was so fun with so much going on. We met my grandma's brother and his wife at the pier. We loved catching up with them. I rented an electric bike and got Madi on one too. It was a blast! Seriously an amazing idea and so much fun. Madi and I would just cruise right on by the rest of them walking.

Saturday we did lots of shopping and then ended at the beach. It was freezing we were wrapped in towels while Madi and Taliah got in the ocean. That night we ate dinner and by the time we left we were all in tears from laughing so hard. 

Sunday was beautiful! We went to a farmers market in Newport Beach then laid on the beach. I loved all the time with my beautiful women.

Taliah's mission farewell

 Still can't believe I am writing this. Taliah leaves so soon. Her farewell talk at church was so well written and I am so proud of her strength, courage and testimony. Taliah talked about faith and reading the Book of Mormon daily and the change and joy it will bring to your life. She is a fantastic example for my kids and me.

We had a great week spending time with family and enjoying one another.

San Diego

 Jake and I went to the San Diego zoo. it was our first time there in quite awhile and our first time with out kids. No strollers are so nice in those big crowds! The orangutans are always my favorite and they were so active and playing the whole time. The cheetah was running around and stalking little kids. Super creepy. The hippo was splashing and diving and the koalas were cuddled and sleeping. We even watched the grizzly bear make a bed and dig around. We saw a weird koala bear to.it was a great day watching the animals be so active.

AMC awards

  

All five of us girls got last minute tickets to the show that day. We had nose bleeds seats way up high. We walked down to the food and they had another performance stage! We stayed there and met and took pictures with so many different artists. We met the male and female new artists of the year. Parker McCollum and Lainey Wilson who also had the song of the year. Thomas Rhett, Chris young and Breland. The night was an absolute blast with my sisters!

Cheer season

 We had a great cheer season, we have been going since August. It was so fun getting to know the girls and spending so much time with Emma. I coached the Jv team with Emylee and loved getting to know the amazing varsity coaches Melissa and Whitney too. We had a long season, but the girls did so well and learned so much. Our routine at the end completely amazed me and all the parents. I am so proud of all the girls for working so hard. We ended with a big pizza and karaoke party and loved watching the girls relax after such a great year. 

 

Valentines Day.

 We had a great valentines. Navy had the cutest singing program and sang loud and proud! I love seeing the kids all decked out. Navy has her kinder husband, JJ. She calls him her love and they both make us laugh! He loves her just as much as she loves him. Jake is going a little crazy with his baby haha. Noah likes all the girls, he is always talking and playing with them. This year Emma got her first valentines from a boy. So weird, but she is the best she told him she just wants to be his friend because when she "liked" him, after months of him liking her, he was to shy to ever actually talk to her. Benjamin got a valentines from a girl he always plays fortnite with. Can't believe these cute kids.

Kylee and I went out riding during the day and had so much fun singing and in the peace of outdoors.
