We added a new family member and she is a doll. She is a Cavapoo mix puppy. Everyone is obsessed with her and rightfully so. She is the sweetest little thing. Ghost loves her and has taken his big brother job of protecting her very seriously. The cat and Lady have started playing and it gives us all quite the little show. So funny! We just love her sweet face!
Noah took it home in his awards program! He got 4 different awards this year. The most important one being how caring and kind he is. It’s his second year with this award and it just melts my mama heart.
Navy graduated kinder! She was so excited to decorate her hat and wear her cap and gown for the Ceremony. They sang fun songs and we loved cheering them on!
Dad, Charlotte and I all went to the new resorts world and got to see Michael Bublè. We have the best time together. The venue was beautiful and we loved singing along. He is so so talented. He even finished the night without a mike or ear pieces and still filled the theater! Charlotte and I sure have a collection of shirts we are building too!
We had date nights, and swimming. Just some fun pictures for our month. Navy trying to get a picture of her tooth. The boys had their first time babysitting and had a blast with these cute girls. Jake and I played bingo with our friends and we all can’t wait to go back for more, one day we will win! We started outdoor movies and love our friends, the Gifford’s. Navy fits right in with their four girls and all our kids absolutely love them. Emma is over here with some amazing church friends that we are so grateful for! Their bond over loving Tom Holland (Spider-Man) is strong. Hahaha
This was Noah and mines first mom son night at the school due to Covid. The place was packed! We had so much fun though. We painted tacos in a step by step by our amazing art teacher! They had cookies for us and we giggled all night. Before painting we had a picnic at the park right after soccer. Then we ended the night at Costco with pizza.
Navy and Abigail took a tap and ballet class together. They had the best time and got lots of play dates out of it. Their performance was adorable. Navy and I loved getting her all dolled up with make up and her hair. She took it so serious and did a beautiful job! Thank you miss Afton for doing this for them all year!
I coached Noah’s soccer team this year. It was the second third grade team for our school. Noah and I loved playing through the season. Emma helped coach practice while Navy and Benjamin played at the park. We we’re about half and half with wins and losses, but I’m so proud of how hard some of the kids worked and improved. Noah was a rockstar out there and looked full on with his man bun running up and down the field haha.
I got to go to the discovery museum with Noah’s class. All of second grade went and it was a mad house of kids. They loved it so much though. I sure love my sweet boy and spending time with him too.
Uncle Brent hosted a pinewood derby for the family and this is going to be one of our new favorite traditions! The kids had a blast making and designing their cars. They all would test them and adjust. It was so fun seeing them race. Emma made an eraser and penny made a pencil. The two of them took the races! Navy got so excited no matter what she placed and acted like she won the whole thing. The boys had tough competition with the girls but they all won some! We are grateful for the multiple family nights leading up to the race where we all gathered and ate and played!
We had so much fun doing Easter activities during spring break and playing with friends. We had Easter dinner with my parents with an Easter egg hunt with over 300 eggs! It was a beautiful day together with family.
We had an overnight with our stake youth at warm springs. The kids had a blast swimming and jumping off the cliffs. We had an amazing talk about how we all can try a little bit harder, raise our hand a little bit higher.
So it was freezing that night. Both the other leader and I ended up in our cars because it was so cold. I sat in my car with the heater on for about an hour. The girls were up talking and laughing away. Well apparently the next morning they said they couldn’t find us ( we were about 20 feet away from our tent) they said they got trapped in the bathroom from bears. The bears were scratching at the doors and everything hahahaha. We had them convinced it was snipes for a hot minute. It was pretty funny. We had a great weekend.
