Time for school!

The kids all had amazing first days of school. Noah and Navy love their teachers and we definitely got the best out there! Benjamin and Emma got their elective classes they want and are so excited. Can’t wait to get back in the groove and see where the year takes us!

Benjamin kinder to 8th! Ruling the school and loves to tell me he will be in high school next year! I can’t with this. He is taller than me which he loves. He is excited to have two different art classes this year. Benjamin is so ready to be back and social with his friends.
Emma kinder to 7th grade. This girl is the best and loved school shopping for new shoes and getting all organized. She is so excited to be in yearbook this year. I’m always so impressed with her attitude and how she handles all the craziness of being a teenager.

Noah kinder to third grade with Mrs. Robert’s
He has already came home saying that he has the nicest teacher and he loves her. Which of course makes him so excited for the school year. With his arm broken he is out of recess and p.e. For the first of the year. Which just means he gets to work on art more. Love his little smile.

Navy in kinder and now first grade with Mrs. Hays. She is just like Benjamin and loves being around people and her friends. She isn’t too excited to be doing math again, hahaha. She is really into headbands and bows which just make her even cuter! It was so fun to see how many friends she had at school. Everyone knows her! She kept giving kids hugs and teachers and parents! Cant wait for this big year.

End of summer!

We had a great last week in Vegas just playing before school started again.

Madi called last minute and we headed up to my Charleston to play for the day. It was beautiful and amazing weather. We even got caught in some thunderstorms. The kids had a blast. Benjamin kept playing on a giant tree teeter totter. Emma had the little kids helping her build a fort and they even planted flowers inside. Madi and I just enjoyed chatting and the fresh air. We can’t wait to go back, the mountains is one of our favorite places to be.

My friend from high school was in town and we had a great day with them! I haven’t seen her in years so it was fun catching up. We did haircuts and then hit up a last minute movie Super Pets! Our kids loved hanging out together, it was so fun to watch them.

Our last free night we went to our friends house swimming. Us adults all played volleyball in the pool the majority of the time! It got intense and we had a blast. All of the kids swam around us and just played. It was the best last summer night.

Earlier that day we went to uncle Brent’s house to hang out! The kids love it over there. Their cousin Bridget hosted a spa day and gave them all facials. They loved it and it was so fun to watch them be loved on.

The day before school started we went over and helped aunt Kylee with pre school. Emma loved being a helper and Navy just went right along with the other kids. Can’t wait for school!

Lighthouse charities

My amazing friend Tani offered to take the kids and I on a tour through her work. She works at lighthouse and helps refugees. It was eye opening for both the kids and I to see different aspects of their lives. Emma watch a virtual reality of some of their camps. The kids saw the toys they make and play with and what a hospital looks like. They got to meet some of the refugees who work there. Navy loved them and got a doll one of them made. It was a great experience and got the kids really wanting to volunteer and do more service.

They have a bakery there where the proceeds go to help. Everything is so yummy and we took home a lot of treats
