I’m so proud of the kids. They have all been working extra hard to accomplish goals and earn rewards.
Emma made the varsity cheer team. She also is in a yearbook class. She worked really hard and is taking lots of pictures. That earned her head photo editor over 6 other editors! And she got the yearbook business manager where she is over the budget for the yearbooks. She was so worried she wouldn’t get anything and we are so proud! She is loving the class.
Noah wrote a paper explaining how he can help others and talked about about service he has done and what he can do in the future. The teachers take the applications and pick one child per class to be a leader for the year. It’s kind of like a student council honor club. Well he was so nervous for a week and then we finally got the news he was chosen! He is so excited to be a Jr lighthouse member!
Noah also decided to try out for the school musical. I told him he would have to sing and he said, “ duh, it’s a musical!” Ok child! He is so excited he got the part of an elf and Rockefeller child. We can’t wait to go see him in Buddy the elf musical in December. Lots of hard work till then.
Navy had been wanting to cheer and we had just under 100 girls show up for the elementary cheer team. She did amazing and was one of the top scores for first grade. I was a little nervous and then so proud of her when I saw her score card. Her constant smile is definitely part of that! We have busy cheer season ahead of us.
Lots of fun and just crazy schedules starting, but we sure are proud of and love these kids so much!
