Busy weekend

Our church group went out with all the youth to warm springs for camping. We got covered in mosquito bites, saw way too many spiders for comfort and went off 2 hours of sleep, but the kids swam and hiked and had fun. Our leaders built a beautiful fire and we sat up laughing and talking while the kids hiked around and played games.

While we were gone Navy and Noah got lots of fun cousin time. Friday night movie and pizza with Kyler and Maddie and then Auntie Em took Navy and Noah to Navy’s cheer game and they cheered for cash. They played and got canes, thank you for helping me!

When we got home from camping I was off with Noah to the school, they were painting murals in the bathroom and on the ceiling tiles. He was so excited to be a part of it. He loves painting and so it was a win. After he went off to a friends to swim and Navy had a fun Barbie birthday party. When we got home, while I was off with the littles benjamin and Emma slept before their nights started. Emma babysat for the night and I took Benjamin to meet his volleyball friend at the park and they played and volleyball for hours while us moms chatted.

Sunday came and Emma gave a talk in church on the sacrament. She did a great job and even made eye contact with us. She told me not to invite anyone, so I’m not quite sure how her grandparents, aunts and uncle got there. We all sure love her! It was a crazy weekend and busy, but the kids loved it all. Had a little mishap with getting home and forgetting the cargo was on the roof of the car when pulling in to the garage no major damage to anything but still…. Ready to start the next week.

JO BROS

For Emma’s birthday I surprised her with tickets I had gotten for the Jonas Brothers. We had a countdown going and it was finally here. This was her first concert so we were hyped. We made bracelets and navy and Noah loved helping find lyrics for the bracelets too. We FaceTimed them during their favorite song , “ The Year 3000” it was so loud and we could just see their happy faces singing right along. During intermission a comedian Matt Rife came on and it was a huge surprise! His tickets are so expensive and we got to see him for free. Emma and I sang and danced all through the 3 hour show. The pre show was an hour so we were there for 5 hours! We stood in line and got our concert tees. Love that Emma got her first one and I got to take her. We ended at In and Out for fries and shakes, then made it home at 1:30. She fell asleep on the way home and I crashed as soon as I crawled in bed. We had tired voices, but had a great night. Love you Emma Happy Birthday!

September is here!

We started off September with a girls trip to cedar. We left at noon, was there for the shower and home by 6! It was a short trip we loved being there for our Bailey’s bridal shower. We had yummy food and treats. They had cute games and the best video of her fiancé Luke answering questions about his wifey. Congrats we love you two!

Benjamin had the best night him and his friends threw a potluck movie night and played hide and seek for homecoming. We threw is some swimming since it’s still so hot, the kids love diving over items into the pool. Lauren and I went to go to Ed Sheeran concert, we got tickets at the beginning of the year! Well it got postponed 15 min before it was supposed to start. Like what the heck! Well we can’t wait for October to go then. Instead we went and got popcorn and saw a movie.

Cheer is up and going! We had our first game and the girls looked adorable and Navy did great! She put that cheer smile right back on!

Noah is working for Uncle Brent. He probably had too much fun when he was working. Brent is awesome and shows the boys how to work hard and have fun while doing it. He is teaching Noah some fun skills that in Vegas he doesn’t get to do or be around. Thank you thank uncle Brent! We love you!

Farm day

Jake’s aunt and uncle have a whole farm. They are amazing and had us over for dinner and to do all the farm things. Navy caught her first gecko! The kids picked fruits and vegetables. Then we used the peaches and made spiced peach jam, which is a Bulloch fav!
We got all dressed and covered in bee suits and went out to the hives. They harvested honey comb and came back to the house. They scooped the honey and then put the honey through cheese cloth. We jarred it up and loved it all. It was amazing to see the whole process from begining to end. We had honey everywhere and Benjamin was licking it off his entire hand.

The kids got eggs from the chicken coop, played with orbeez guns and had the best day. It was so fun and the perfect family activity day for my birthday. Thank you to uncle Brent and Aunt Diane. We are so grateful for you and all you do to help teach our kids and love them!

34th Birthday for me

Jake took me out shopping and on a date Saturday night. Then we had pizza for dinner and tried a new “benyay”shop. I had a mango passion fruit flavor and it was so good! Jake said they don’t stand up to Disneyland lol.

On Sunday my mom made my birthday dinner. I’m so grateful for her and my dad and all the work they put in to make us feel special. I also got a homemade ice cream cake with thriftys ice cream! What?! It was amazing. Seriously sooo delicious!

Navy also gave me an old wrinkly lady birthday card lol. She woke me up so many times so I could open it because she could not stop laughing. She cracks me up.

I celebrated for weeks with my friends. I’m so lucky and spoiled to have such amazing ladies in my life! Include birthday treats, a craft night , lunch and pedicures and more. I love you all!

Happy 7th birthday Navy

This girl had her party planned since January! She wanted USA everything. We love that red white and blue. I saved all the decor all summer lol.

We had a park birthday complete with an American bbq of hot dogs. The kids played and navy had the best day. Charlotte came over and helped me bake and decorate cupcakes. They turned out so yummy and so fun with red white and blue marbled batter.

Navy got spoiled and loved on. A giant squishmallow, croc charms- Wednesday and Bluey, flowers, Wednesday blanket, doll house and lots more. Her favorites were a Wednesday outfit and then a cowgirl outfit. She got fully decked out to all of it and is adorable. We love her cowgirl to goth style.

Navy is funny, kind and smart. We love her and she definitely gets everyone laughing at home and with whoever we are around. Navy makes friends wherever she goes and is so fun to be around. Happy birthday baby girl!

Elder Scow made it home!

Ben is home! We are so proud of Elder Scow and so so happy he is home! Jake and I both agreed he had an amazing homecoming talk. It was great to see his face and hear more stories. The perseverance he showed through his emails and all of his hard work is an example I’m grateful to have in our kids lives. Ben worked so hard and had many trials, but did so much good. He told about a dead mango tree at his first place and how he would just water it daily, by the time he left months later nothing was there. He went back right at the end of his mission and it had fruit and was a beautiful tree. What a story and a gift for Ben and those around him.

Ben and our Ben our pretty dang close in height now, I took multiple pics to see if our Ben had beat him while he was in Guatemala. I threw in the pics we took before he left to compare the kids. Love you Elder Scow can’t wait to see the awesome things you do next!

August time

We love August! Birthday month and so much fun!
We love our missionary dinners. Charlotte and Robert came over and joined in our night too. I got to go for a ladies night and make freezer meals with Jake’s aunts,
Cousins and wives. Loved being around such wonderful women and getting some dinners for busy school schedules. Benjamin and I went on a little treat and shopping date. We got our favorite bbq fries. Vegas has had some crazy weather lately it’s flooding. Noah thought it would be funny to take a shower in the rain. Benjamin and Emma got rained out of their fire pit with friends.

School is off, and we are busy. I love getting pics from Charlotte of her and Benjamin at school. Noah gave a speech in front of the whole elementary for his Jr lighthouse. Emma has had lots of friends and time at the trampoline park. Noah has spent lots of time with cousin Kyler and his girlfriend Maddie, they even took him out to the Aviators game one night and took navy and Noah to the pet store. We love them! Benjamin being back in the game and got to ref for volleyball. He loves it and spends his days for it!
