April and May

We celebrated sweet Eden’s fifth birthday. Kyler and Maddi got a bounce house water slide and the kids had a blast with the warm weather. Everything was cars themed. Maddie is a great host and all the decorations were so well done.

Next Taliah threw a surprise birthday party for Ben! We love a good surprise and we totally got him. Ben had no idea! Jen made all his favorite snacks that were delicious. Taliah once again slammed cake in his face. He sure loves her lol. They are the cutest together. We played Gaga ball and cross net and pickle ball. Of course we snuggled and loved on the two puppies they had left from their litter.

Jordan got sick and ended up having emergency surgery to take his appendix out. I went v to see him in the hospital and Noah’s amazing teacher Mrs. Reid let him FaceTime v so Noah could say hi to Jordan too. Of course I had to bring this boujee boy his Starbucks and it was worth it to see him enjoy  something other than hospital food.

Madi and I snuck out for a girls movie date we saw fall guy and it was such a cute fun movie. Some pics from the kids field day. It’s one of their favorite days at school, all the fun water activities and games.  Navy and her bestie Stella with bff necklaces at her party. Then we had taco night at Brent and Diane’s house. The kids love their house and them so much. They make everything so fun on their city farm.

Tryout broken bones for a one game season

I dropped Emma off at soccer tryouts and when I came back to pick her up and drop off Navy she walked up to me really quiet. I asked her how it went and could tell she was off. I looked at her and she was doing everything she could not to cry and held out her arm, where you could see her bone was out of place. We went into crazy mode and left kids with different people and met Jake at the e.r. She broke both of her arm bones. Her big bone she broke all the way through and it was displaced. Luckily she didn’t have to have surgery after manipulation. Emma had a splint then two casts, then a splint again, each for three weeks.

Poor girl does not bruise and this break wrecked her arm and skin. She was devastated she could not play soccer. Gratefully she had an excellent coach that let her help manage the team. She was finally cleared and able to play in one scrimmage game and’s the teams very last game of the season.

Seeing her smile back on the field she loved every minute. Coach told her she would have been captain and was an important part of the team. He invited her on to the school podcast to talk about her experience and I am so proud of the young woman she is.

Benson Boone

Our first family concert and we loved it! We have been looking forward to Benson Boone for months. We are all huge fans, the kids would probably argue over who is the biggest fan. Everyone knows the lyrics and Navy even made up a dance to one of his songs and performed it in music class!

We drove straight from Vegas to the concert and were ready to go after we got our shirts. It was seriously so much fun. This was Benjamin, Noah and Navy’s first concert and when he came on stage their reactions were awesome. Completely awestruck. Benjamin had to plug his ears with all the girls high pitched squeals.

We all sang the whole time. He is a great performer. He even did three or four back flips. This concert was his first stadium concert and he filled the entire venue!

I am so glad we got tickets and were able to go. A night we will all remember, especially since Navy is now writing Navy Boone on her school papers! We swoon for. Benson Boone haha!

Utah trip

Weekend with our favorite Utah couple! Yummy food, games, knights game and pickleball! Ben and Taliah proved the champs, but with some good competition. Navy was loving it by the end to being able to actually play. We loved having a big sleepover and spending time with them.

Go Mustangs!

Benjamin made the JV team as a starting freshman for Shadow Ridge. We had such a fun season. The games were awesome with all the families ands friends cheering the boys on. Benjamin grew so much and we loved watching him. I loved all the games being local and so didn’t miss any.
Kylee was his coach and he worked hard for her. The team had a puppy practice and walked over to see Ben’s family puppies. They said that was the best practice all season. I would think so lol. The boys also got to work and attend a Las Vegas Thrill game which is the professional volleyball team here. They passed out promo items then cheered on the team! We loved their dance moves when they made it on the jumbo tron.

The end of season banquet was great. All the boys worked so hard and deserved the recognition. Here is what Kylee had to say for Benjamin.

I’ve been fortunate enough to be his aunt for the last 15 years. I’ve been able to see the past year he has started to play volleyball and how volleyball has changed the type of person he is becoming. It’s been awesome to be able to coach him this year. I think I’ve been a little bit hard on him because I am related to him, but he has put in the work. He has bounced forth between playing middle and outside and has had a ton of growth as a freshman and he finished the season with the most aces on the team.

Way to go Benjamin! Thanks to everyone that came and supported him! Let’s go Mustangs!

Idaho spring break

We stopped at Taliah and Ben’s house. They are so fun and we were all so excited to see them. We went and visited Savvy, Casdon was gone, but we love our Savvy! Their cute dog had puppies we got to snuggle. The cutest little Aussie doodles. We then walked to their neighbors and saw all the animals. We held baby goats that were 5 days old. I can’t believe how tiny they were and so active. We saw lots of chickens and ducks, even a giant pig. The kids also each got to hold a brand new litter of kittens. They were the teeniest thing's and of course the kids wanted to bring all the babies home.

We went to BYU and got some fun treats and gear. Go Cougars! We went back to their house for games and they made us delicious deep fried ice cream! We also somehow got into a leg wrestling war.

We got to grandma and grandpas and grandma had Benjamin helping her make lunch in the kitchen. These moments melt my heart. We went on a walk and Navy and Noah found walking sticks that they really felt they needed. We played countless games this trip. The kids smile and laugh and always try and beat grandma which is pretty dang hard.

More games at grandma Schraft’s house. The kids swang in her giant swings and love running around. We played even more games.

My best friend Brittany took Charlottes senior pics and we snapped our mini besties photos while we were down in the canyon. Navy got to have a sleepover with Grace. We absolutely love how much they love each other and are besties too.

Kylee, Madi and I took the kids too our favorite treat place to have volcano drinks. We also went and visited a science museum in town. We loved seeing all the fossils found in the area. Taliah and Ben surprised us all and showed up for the weekend. Yay for all 5 girls being at grandma and grandpas!

We ended up staying an extra day to help grandma with a big service project. Kylee, mom and I went and tied quilts with grandma all morning. We then got to go and cheer on Kelsey in her championship volleyball game and they won! Then we had dinner with the Jardines for Kelsey’s birthday. Love all the kids playing while we get to see our family! Great times in Twin Falls, Idahome forever!

90 years for Grandpa Bulloch

Happy Birthday grandpa Bulloch! 90 years! We had a big birthday party to celebrate. It was fun seeing so many cousins and aunts and uncles. Grandpa has so many stories and we got to hear memories from all of his kids, friends and grandkids. They even had toy airplanes they gave out and the kids had a blast building them and racing/flying them.

We even got to go see Alyssa and Q’s house where they have my cousins puppy. She is a doll and we loved being able to love on her. The kids had fun seeing the chickens and running around. We loved all the cousin time and celebrating grandpa!

Deedee had all of her kids there and most of her grand kids and her great grandchild all there.

Temple time

The kids and I got to go to the temple this week and it was Benjamin’s first time being able to perform baptisms. He got to do so many names and was able to baptize Emma for their great aunt from Japan. I love family history and this was such a beautiful moment with Benjamin and Emma. I am so grateful for eternal families.

When we were in Utah, Taliah and Ben are favorites so they played with the kids for the night and Jake and I got to go to the Provo City Center Temple. It was stunning! Green and purple are my favorite colors and they used those colors perfectly and made rooms so beautiful. They even had a really old fashioned small spiral staircase. I loved seeing the history of the building that they kept. We were there at the perfect time to and were in awe at the hundreds of tulips.

On our way home we stopped in Cedar City and were able to stop for a moment together at the temple there. I love the different styles and buildings. It was a beautiful day in a beautiful place.

Lady

In February we had to put our sweet Lady down. She had been sick for about 6 months and nothing we  tried helped her. Poor girl was in so much pain and lost so much weight for her little self. We were all heartbroken because she only would have turned two in March. Losing her still has left a hole in all our hearts. One of my dream dogs is a cocker spaniel so when a friend had cockapoo/cavapoo puppies I was in heaven. Lady was a dang cute puppy and even full grown just the cutest puppy face still. We got her on the last day of school in 2022 and she was the perfect summer fun!  Ghost was a big pillow for her and Boots and Lady used to run all over the house. The cuddles she got from everyone she was definitely spoiled and so loved.

Lady was the sweetest little dog and listened so well, she didn’t bark a lot either. She was the perfect size dog. It was horrible watching her decline physically and mentally. Lady went to the mountain with us many times and had the best time running around. She played so much and loved everyone. Towards the end she slept most of the time and cuddled when she could.  We are glad she is happy and healthy again. We miss you and will cherish the pictures and memories you brought to our family.

Soccer for Navy

Navy had her first soccer season and I had the best time watching my baby play. She was one of the smallest on the team, but fast little one that made it to the ball. She loved playing with her friends. For whatever reason they decided to put her as one of the goalies for the season. She surprised us all and had some excellent saves. She cracked us up saying the ball was coming so fast and hard she just closed her eyes and held out her arms, but guess what?!?! She totally caught it! We loved watching her play even though she said she doesn’t love sports where balls fly at her face.

Mothers Day

Happy Mother’s Day. Jake surprised me with a beautiful temple bag. The kids all spoiled me with really thoughtful notes and home made gifts. I love how excited they get to surprise me. We went to my parents house where Jake, Vernon and my dad do such a good job taking care of all of us moms. I loved my day with all my favorites.

Carnival, Cowboys and Cotton Candy

Fair time! We are always so excited to go out to Logandale in April for the fair. The food and rides and country are where it’s at!

The kids got the wristbands and off they went. They hit up all the rides during the day because at night the lines get crazy long. It was so fun watching them meet up with friends and cousins.

Charlotte and Emma went non stop. I love seeing my sister bond with my kids and love each other. We all laughed with Benjamin , he was with new people/ girls every time we saw him. Having a blast all day! Noah popped back and forth with cash getting giant hot dogs and watching the cowboys at the rodeo. The kids saw a pretty epic accident with the bull wrestlers. We were so sad, but the ended up ok after the horse fell and he flipped over with the horse landing in him. Noah loved riding the big crazy rides with Benjamin. I love that all my kids get that thrill too.

Navy made a list of things she had to do with Piper for the day. We went down the list taking the girls all over to complete everything. From matching bracelets and necklaces, to which rides they would do and eating cotton Candy and ice cream. She checked it off as they went and those two had the best day!

Easter

We spent Easter with Jake’s family at Tara and Drew’s house. The day was beautiful weather.  They prepped so so so many eggs. Each kid has a different color/design of egg. It’s so fun watching them help each other out rather than competing for eggs. All the cousins had so much fun playing and hanging out. Deedee even had all five of her kids there and most of the grand kids. We had a lot of great food, thanks to everyone that made it and the day.
