End of school

Navy finished third grade and grew so much with her reading.
Noah finished elementary school. We had his graduation program and a date after. Can’t believe he will be in middle school next.
Emma crushed freshman year as Freshman class president and is ready to start again as Sophomore class Vice president.
Benjamin stayed busy with school and finished his sophomore year. Officially a Jr and now doing college classes with UNLV.

Easter

Our stake helped with a huge program for Walk with Jesus- it was an entire church building set up and decorated to walk in Jesus’ footsteps. A stunning and moving event. Navy even participated in a multi church choir program with our primary kids and sang.
Our annual Easter egg hunt with Jake’s family. This year I helped Melissa, Tara and Deedee stuff all the eggs and saw even more so how much work goes in to putting this on for all the cousins. We had a store this year where kids could buy snacks and more, and played minute to win it to games which were so fun for all of us.

We had a beautiful church service where Emma even sung with her friends. Had a delicious lunch with my family as well. A great day celebrating our savior with family.

Birthday/volleyball

Benjamin had a tournament in CA . Since Emma’s birthday was coming up she came and wanted Grandma to come with us. All she wanted was shopping and sun.

We watched Benjamin play, but got lots of beach time and shopping in. We had yummy food and fun nights laughing.  We did all the shopping we could, spa nights in the room and found our favorite hummus at a beach farmers market. Love my family and these little memories we can make together. Happy birthday Emma!

May

Noah headed to California on a school trip to Astro camp. He was living his life being in the mountains and doing all things science.

Kids all went off to different parties for the end of the school year. We are so ready to sleep in and be poolside with sunshine.

Aunt Kylee took all the kids to cowabunga bay. I love that she took pictures of the kids. They had a blast going down all the slides and being in the lazy river. Stitch movie came out and with Navy’s obsession we headed to the theater. We all loved it and thought they did such a cute job. Navy wore all things stitch with her stitch bag, and stuffies she brought her.

Mt. Charleston pics, animals, reading and more.

We celebrated Jake’s birthday! He requested shortbread cake with strawberries and homemade whipped cream. Jake and I also got to go out to dinner and a movie. Happy birthday babe.

More oics. We went and saw king of kings with my parents. Jake got called to be in the bishopric as first counselor. Cousin and friend time. Mother’s Day was great. Jake, Vernon and my dad always spoil us with dinner and dessert. The kids heart attacked my car with sweet notes. Threw in some pics of when I tried on some clothes for my friends boutique.

Sunshine and Ferris wheel

April means fair time! We brought our favorites the Grahams. Kids match up with Benjamin, Emma and Navy and we love them. They partied from open to close. Ride after ride. Treat after treat.
The girls are so much fun- Jake and I tagged along as we hit up all the fun fair activities like fave painting and fishing.

Kelsey, Oakley and Cooper were staying with us so they came and joined in the fun all morning. Love my cousin and the kids love their cousins. Kelsey also cleared out the carnival games, it’s in their blood and she proved it once again with their toy haul.  Noah got to see his school friends and watch the rodeo with Cash. While piper played with Navy and Kenna.

Shadow volleyball

Ended the season as the champions!! The last tournament of the season and we won! Went undefeated and the boys crushed it. It was so fun to watch these mustangs win all weekend and bring home the trophy! Best JV team for 5A NV!

Our second to last game of the season we went to our third set, which we have only done one other time. It was neck and neck the entire game. When tied at 13 Benjamin got the perfect set and hit a banger finally putting us in the lead and then we won the game! It was his best hit of the season and hit the poor kid on the other team in the face causing his glasses to break off. It could not have been more needed and better timing in the match after having horrible one sided ref calls. All the shadow fans stood up and cheered and both the freshman and Varsity teams were so loud. I think all the parents there complimented Benjamin after the game. It was amazing and put a huge smile on this mama’s face as well as Benjamin’s.

Love when we have all the family to cheer Benjamin and Kylee and the team on.
