Eagles Soccer

This spring I was the coach for Benjamin and Emma's school soccer team. It was a third and fourth grade team, we had 12 boys and 2 girls. I had the really great, supportive parents that made the season go as smoothly as possible. Our whole team was absolutely amazing and worked so hard. Benjamin killed it this season! He learned so much and had one of the strongest kicks and ball control on the team. He was one of my only players that played their position and in their spots and did so great. By the end of the season he was perfecting so many skills. Emma wanted to play goalie, I was so worried at first but she did so so so good. Every game she worked so hard and put her all into it. She dived for balls and jumped in the air. She had multiple hits to the face and stomach, but she took it like a champ and got back in the goal. When she played on the field she gave it her all to running as fast as she could and her defense was on point! I just absolutely loved being able to spend extra time with them every week. Watching them grow and become stronger and they are amazing people with their peers.

We were UNDEFEATED!!!!!! It was so amazing watching the kids excitement for each game. Even the couple games where we thought we might lose the kids would pull it together every time. They wanted it so bad and worked so hard for it all season. I am so proud of my team! I played soccer for years growing up and my number was 11 so I was also so proud for Emma to wear my number this season. I love these two kids so much and can't say how grateful I am for this season. Thank you to all who came and supported my kids, they loved seeing them at the games and we appreciate all of you. Some times their cheering section took up most of our teams section!
