Bucket 19

We made our trip up to the land of the Yankee Fork. It is hands down the prettiest place in our world. The mountains are our peaceful place where we have so many memories. Thank you Papa Buzz for living your life and bringing us back together at a place where you gave us countless memories throughout your childhood all the way to ours and your great grandkids.
We had a beautiful memorial service at the Yankee Fork Gold Dredge. My dad said a heart touching dedicatory prayer for my grandpa's final resting place. We shared a moment that was crushing to us for the times and the person that we miss, but gave us the peace that he is at this wonderful place that meant so much to him and to us.
We went on our dredge tour and told memories of grandpa. We spent time in Custer and gold panned.   We had amazing dinners by the fire. The kids built a fort. We spent a night at redfish lake where we rented a paddle boat and played on the beach. The smiles on the kids faces were priceless. We had a few people catch a flu or a cold or both wilhich makes it hard when camping. The first night there we had a visitor in the camp that led to so many gunshots. The next morning we found out they caught a BEAR! We saw it and it was so intense. The rest of the trip we were all on edge at night with bears that kept coming to close for comfort. I am certainly glad that the trip happened and everything went perfect in our sunset night forever remembering Bucket 19.
