Emma made the JV team at Shadow and had a lot of growth this season. She got asked to play in all the B team games as well. A club coach also invited her to practice and scrimmage with their team through out the last few months. Her and her teammate Katey also joined a co-ed club team on top of all the rest.
The club team was fun because it was a little bit smaller of a field and I had friends with kids on the team too. Some of the other coaches and teams were wild. Playing with boys is a different game as well, almost every game some guy would flirt with Emma and usually in the dumbest ways. Emma loved messing with them all and kept everyone entertained.
Emma even played goalie a couple times. Her coach would throw her in all of the positions and she is our fast one. The head coach calls her baby gazelle because she almost hops she is so fast and light on her feet.
I loved watching her play and seeing her commitment and love for the game .
