Christmas 2019
Christmas eve we had breakfast for dinner at my parents for our tradition. The food was amazing and just what we want to get ready for Santa. We opened our pajamas and put them on. I love matching all my kids. I probably only have a year or two left with how fast Benjamin is growing! Jake did amazing and got me not only my favorite brand of clothes but my favorite colors for my pajamas! All the other girls were jealous. We went home and got Santa's treats and milk ready.
This year was great. All of the kids got what they wanted. Benjamin got some more games for his xbox. Emma got a new comforter and decorations for her room. Noah got his chapstick (his only request) and some grown up art coloring kits. Navy got her little plush baby elsa and anna dolls. Every present Navy opened she would say this is exactly what I wanted! The kids also got a school paper and white board. It is perfect since they love to play school and games together. Our morning was perfect. The kids woke up early enough that they were actually able to play with their toys and we set up Emma's room before we had to get ready and leave. Navy was pretty confused on why Santa wasn't there to open presents with us. She loves him!
Deedee's breakfast was yummy scones. All the cousins played while we waited to eat. It's so fun getting to hear them talk about their Christmas. Deedee did a scavenger hunt this year that consisted of group selfies and toy prizes at the end. We did the kids gift exchange and I love seeing the kids see the excitement of cousins as they open their gifts. This year we got DeeDee a blanket with all the grandkids names on it. We all got a pogo pass and will have so much fun this year doing those activities.
At my parents we had turkey and rolls and the perfect Christmas dinner. Everyone was so tired from the morning that we all just relaxed and hung out for awhile. Before dinner we did presents. We did our sister exchange. Taliah got me the nail color I have been wanting for months! Jake got puzzles for his desk and completed them all that afternoon. Emma got more decor for her room. Benjamin got a gaming chair that he is so excited to use! Noah got a remote control car which is the one thing he didn't get from santa so it was perfect. My mom got all us girls a sweatshirt with Idaho on it. I love having pieces of Idaho with us.
Thanks everyone for making our Christmas great!
Family Pictures
Over thanksgiving we had my best friend from high school take all of our pictures. She always does such an amazing job and of course did this time too. She just does her thing and creates great photos! Huge shout out to Brittany Barnes Bunker! It was a cold day but the wind went away and it didn't snow or rain just during our photo session so it was perfect! We also had four dogs that all behaved too. So fun being able to get these with my grandparents. I sure love my family!
Go Casdon
My cousin was playing in Cedar city. He plays for UVU basketball. We all decided to make a day trip up there to watch the game. It was so fun seeing him play and do so well. The kids loved cheering for someone they knew. They look up to him so much so we had a great day. After the game we went to dinner and got to catch up. Benjamin is convinced he will be as tall as Casdon and his brother Brady!
Benjamin is 11
We did a friend party for the first time this year. Usually everyone is too busy it just doesn't work out. We had a star wars movie party getting ready for the new one coming out. All of the kids lasted about half the movie and then started coming and going. They all were so great and had a blast. I made lots of yummy treats and they just snacked away.
Benjamin has been wanting a game system for a long time and Jake and I finally decided it was time. The kids are already having fun playing together and with friends over on it. So that was Benjamin's gift this year.
He also got a family party where he got spoiled again. My mom also made him pancakes at his request on his actual birthday. He is getting so big and grown up. Starting to love all the teen things like vans haha. Benjamin loves fortnite and minecraft as his main games. This next year is a big one for him and we are excited to see where it goes.

Navy's Pre school Christmas
The kids put on such a cute show. They sang the songs they have learned in school and Christmas music. They changed Santa Claus is coming to town into Santa Claus is coming to Las Vegas. Navy is convinced that is how you sing it and will correct anyone. They even sang baby shark but made it christmas characters. Navy loved doing the activities and getting little presents from her friends and teachers.
Brace Face!
We knew it was coming and so we were ready, but not quite haha. We made a consult appointment with Emma's aunt's sister. She was so amazing and her staff was all so great that we decided to put them on that day! She looks so dang cute with them and is doing amazing taking care of them. She was sore for a little over a week, but is doing great now.
That night we took the kids to see the Speedway lights for a fun little activity together. We love seeing the kids excitement and making memories together.

Emma's Nevada Award
Emma worked so hard memorizing all the facts about Nevada. She did amazing and it showed in her test. She earned her citizenship award. For her project she made a Guess Who game, but called it Guess Nevada. All of the cards were facts about Nevada. I'm so proud of her hard work!

Benjamin's Warriors Soccer season
We just finished another season of soccer. Benjamin played a great game. He is growing and improving all the time. He loves everyone that comes and cheers him on. We played with 4-5 kids on his team this year that were all in our ward. The kids had a blast playing together all week. Benjamin ended the season with an incredible penalty kick!
Skypointe leader in the House!
Noah was chosen as a Somerset Skypointe leader. We are all so proud! He got to have a special lunch with each student from the different grades that won. Way to go Noah!
Turkey time in Idahome
We were lucky enough that we got to go to Idaho for a week to celebrate with family. We spent time with grandma Schraft and the kids all helped her cook and bake. She made us cute stockings. Having my kids make memories with my grandparents makes my heart so happy. My grandparents have so much love for my family and my kids and Jake love them just as much as I do.
Navy was best friends with Papa Jack as she played puppies and they watched the squirells an birds and pretend phone calls. We went to our favorite places to eat. We bribed the kids after taking family pictures in the snow with Volcano drinks. We saw elk, deer, antelope, and buffalo. The kids had fun wrestling as we just watched movies and the snow.
On thanksgiving we saw cousins that I haven't got to see in years. I loved seeing their kids and my kids playing. Some of my big cousins even played with my kids for hours and they had a blast as their shoes got thrown in trees and on the roof playing games! I got lots of shopping done with my sisters and cousins. I'm way ahead of the game and couldn't have spent the time with better people.
Friday we woke up to a white ground and sky. I woke all the kids up early with a big handful of snow. They jumped out of bed and we ran straight out into the snow. I miss the snow so much and loved my kids getting to experience as part of the holidays. Benjamin helped shovel the drive way and did a great job. I remember my cousins helping my grandparents and can't believe Benjamin is now that age. I started to help shovel with my grandma too as we raced down the driveway. The whole week was magical and I am so grateful for my family and the love, laughter and memories we have.

Frozen 2
Frozen 2 came out and we couldn't wait to go see it. We bought our tickets early and went on opening night. My parents, sisters and their families all came. The day of Jake's brother chad and his family got some of the last seats and got to join us too! All the kids and the adults really enjoyed the movie. The kids were laughing and loved it all! Now Navy is even more so EVERYTHING Frozen! She ran straight into the theater and everyone passing her just laughed knowing she was seeing the movie. She had her outfit on and couldnt contain her excitement, but then sat through the whole movie. She fell asleep at the end and when we got in the car she started crying saying she missed some of it and needed to go back right then!
Jordan and Kylee had a birthday bash!
Kylee is on the 19 and Jordan is on the 22 so why not celebrate the awesome pair together at flippin' out! The kids were all so dang excited. They were running and jumping non stop. Jordan loved having everyone there for him and as he opened presents so fast he didnt even see what he got. I love seeing my nephew grow up into the cutest little boy. He always has his hair styled and looking fresh. Kylee is a kid herself so she is always a fun time with the kids! Poor Jake sprained his ankle really bad within the first few minutes of jumping. I know he was bummed he couldn't do all his flips and tricks. All the kids loved the jumping and dodge ball. I think their favorite part was the rock climbing wall and the laser tag game! Happy Birthday Kylee and Jordan!
Bierstedt Thanksgiving
We had a great dinner for thanksgiving with Jake's family. Jake got to spend the evening with all of his siblings. Our family is getting so big with all the kids and grandkids. It is so fun to see the kids getting along and playing games. They are all growing so fast. In my family we say what we are thankful for every night after prayer and before the night was over we all got to go around and share with all of Jake's family. We are all so blessed to have the lives we have and have so much to be grateful for. Thanks Deedee for a great dinner!
Halloween Spooky fun
We went all out this Halloween! So many events, starting with the school fall festival. This year it was even busier then average. The kids got loaded up on candy and fun games. Benjamin was a Jurrasic Park survivor, Emma a genie, Noah a glow stick man, and Navy was Anna from Frozen.
\
We then went to the Zerkle Halloween party. This time we were all dressed up as a circus family. Jake a lion tamer, Me a lion, Benjamin a ventriliquist doll, Emma a Contortionist, Noah a Mime, and Navy a clown. Our family won best costume. We had a fire pit for dinner and lots of yummy treats. The kids had a great time playing games with all of the kids. There was a giant pink gorilla, spiderman, caezar the dog trainer, elsa, chip and joanna and much more that all had a great time. I also won for the third year in a row with our circus family a gift card for Birkenstocks!
On halloween we walked around our neighborhood. My mom, Kylee, and Jordan came and Trick or Treated with us last minute to join on in the fun. The kids were so excited to have them with us. Our neighbors went all out. One house did a full haunted house and Kylee, Benjamin, Emma, Noah, Jordan and I went through! So brave hahaha we all got rewarded with king size candy bars at the end. At every house Navy would yell, "they gave me more candy!" she was surprised and loved it everytime. Enjoying all these moments with my kids and seeing the pure joy on their faces makes the holidays my favorite.
Noah is 6 (even though he looks 7)
Noah had a birthday! He was so excited to be older. Leading up to his birthday he kept saying that he is only 5 and looks 6, so when he turns 6 he will probably look 7. This kid is so smart and has such an old soul. I can't get anything past him he catches on to it all. He has the kindest heart and loves so much. Noah is doing amazing in Kindergarten and loves his teacher.
For his birthday we went to the drive in to see the new addams family movie. It was so fun going with everyone. When they wished Noah a happy birthday on the radio he was so excited. Noah doesn't love a lot of characters or tv shows. For his birthday he wanted art stuff and oh boy did he get set up! I love watching you grow Noah! You are an amazing kid and just absolutely loved by everyone around you.

Pumpkin patch for Navy
Navy got to go on a field trip to Gilcrease Orchard with her pre school. It was so fun picking out pumpkins and seeing how excited she was. She loves going out and especially spending time with her friends and all her cousins in the class.
