Turkey time in Idahome

We were lucky enough that we got to go to Idaho for a week to celebrate with family. We spent time with grandma Schraft and the kids all helped her cook and bake. She made us cute stockings. Having my kids make memories with my grandparents makes my heart so happy. My grandparents have so much love for my family and my kids and Jake love them just as much as I do.
Navy was best friends with Papa Jack as she played puppies and they watched the squirells an birds and pretend phone calls. We went to our favorite places to eat. We bribed the kids after taking family pictures in the snow with Volcano drinks. We saw elk, deer, antelope, and buffalo. The kids had fun wrestling as we just watched movies and the snow.
On thanksgiving we saw cousins that I haven't got to see in years. I loved seeing their kids and my kids playing. Some of my big cousins even played with my kids for hours and they had a blast as their shoes got thrown in trees and on the roof playing games! I got lots of shopping done with my sisters and cousins. I'm way ahead of the game and couldn't have spent the time with better people.
Friday we woke up to a white ground and sky. I woke all the kids up early with a big handful of snow. They jumped out of bed and we ran straight out into the snow. I  miss the snow so much and loved my kids getting to experience as part of the holidays. Benjamin helped shovel the drive way and did a great job. I remember my cousins helping my grandparents and can't believe Benjamin is now that age. I started to help shovel with my grandma too as we raced down the driveway. The whole week was magical and I am so grateful for my family and the love, laughter and memories we have.
